Collegium Groups: join a living database of scholars

Collegium Groups serve as the official database of scholars in the Unitarian Universalist Collegium.

Join & Share

First, join the groups that represent your scholarly identity. To join, click on the photo of the group that interests you then click on the black button that says, "Join Us!" Then introduce yourself in the "Why do you identify as..." comment box. You can update, delete or post new statements at any time.

Helpful Hints

  • Do not assume that people know your complete background, even if you've known your colleagues for years.
  • Reveal complex things about your interests in simple and effective ways.
  • Describe the arc of your evolving research interests. What does this journey say about your rich intellectual life?
  • Don't be bashful. Summarize your expertise and give your colleagues a sense of the complexity of your scholarly identity.

Co-Create a Living Tradition

You may also create new groups (use the + button in the top right hand corner) or revise existing ones.

When doing so, please choose a historical or contemporary leader within Unitarian Universalism to serve as your mascot, mentor, or spiritual guide, as indicated in these images.

Why Groups? Why Not?

Each time you engage this social networking site you help bring Collegium to the homes and offices of dispersed yet interdependent scholars in the field of liberal religious studies.

Thank you for your meaningful and regular contributions.
